How we call Magic? From it's damaged, dirty, loose and misshapen condition, till this piece of antique furniture has found its original looking, intact shape and was given a brand new life, exactly the process called Magic. It needs not only understanding with heart, but also the first-rate workmanship run in the family even more. This is the way to bring the soul of antiques.

Processes coming:

1. First of all, we will take off all hardware and metalwork and keep them.

2. Next, our craftsmen in our Restoration Workshop will take each piece apart, this is a very important procedure. The quality of the restoration depends on it. For example, there are two similar looking chairs in front of you, and after using for 1-2 months, you notice a difference. The one hadn't been taken apart begins to shake, the other one is just as strong as when you bought it.

3. Third, our craftsmen will use sandpaper and special tools to make each piece smooth. They spend almost 3-4 days to smooth each piece of furniture.

4. Next, we go to Refinishing Workshop. Here we use the ancient refinishing technique called "LaShenChi" which takes approx. 1 week.Your finger and eye will be able to detect the care with which we complete this difficult process.

5. The last step is to repair and clean the bronze and other metalwork according to the client's request and replace them back on the furniture.

In short, it is a very complicated way to ensure the best possible restoration and refinishing of these special Chinese antiques.
